LA CASA AZUL

A very time-consuming mosaic showcasing Frida's home and garden. I chose a mosaic because it allowed me the opportunity to display what I thought were some of the most memorable places inside her home as well. Her easel and wheelchair where I see her soul pouring everything out into the world. The colorful kitchen that show cased her love for Diego, as well as the sign that displays in the outer walls that mark Frida and Diego lived here from 1919-1954. Unfortunately, I have yet to visit, but these were some of the things that my friends who have visited shared with me and images/comments I found through my research.
